In addition to manufacturing over 200 of our own ESCO branded products,
ESCO Foods is a full service co-packer. Our co-packing service includes the batching and subsequent packaging of your product with your label on the finished good. We are able to pack in a variety of glass and plastic in both retail and larger ‘warehouse club’ sized bottles. We are well suited to handle many different product types. The current majority of our co-packing business includes marinades, barbeque sauces and salad dressings as well as our new pump-able caramel and chocolate sauces widely used in the gourmet coffee industry.

Individuals or companies that wish to bottle a new product and enter the market should be aware of several factors regarding the different stages of a project of this nature:
Formulation-The process of shifting from a great recipe made fresh to a great product in a bottle is often difficult and time consuming. From a safety standpoint, the product pH level should ideally be 4.1 or lower. Certain ingredients are prohibitively costly while others may be labor intensive during the batching process. Generally a small amount of preservative is necessary to ensure a stable taste and color of the product during the shelf life.
In order to determine the feasibility of bringing your product to the market, please email all relevant information. pH testing and sample work is available through our flavor department for a fee. Pricing estimates for your finished product are not usually available until the latter stages of development when ingredient content and quantities are known.
